This tea from the upper reaches of Assam comes from an estate that is reputed amongst connoisseurs. The cup is aromatic and full-bodied. It’s mellow texture is clean in the first sip with sweet notes. Classic maltiness please the palate and is aided by sweet dates which become prominent flavors in the cup. Measured cocoa hints come and go toward the middle and reveal exquisite notes of maple syrup in the finish. This gives the liquor some depth and vibrancy making it stand out among its kind. Tender fruity notes can be picked up in the aftertaste.
