The estate of Donyi Polo is fairly new and lies to the farthest corner of the country in the highlands of Arunachal. It makes limited batches of exceptional teas like this first flush oolong. A light, smooth liquor that is delightful with layered delicate notes and a creamy texture. The honeyed sweetness and rounded character of the liquor is remarkably similar to the famed Taiwanese oolong. Floral fragrances come by in the middle extending its richness and depth. The sweetness of the cup lingers on as you mull over its nuances. Steep the leaves again to enjoy more greener less floral characters.
