During the winters, only the Nilgiris make tea and because of the low temperatures the growth of the teas are subdued. This produces leaves with concentrated flavors exclusive to the winter frost teas. The strong flavors in this cup are truly complementary to the full and brisk body of the liquor. Raw fruity notes make way for the more fragrant and sweet floral impressions. The sweetness heightens toward the end and leads on to milder leafy note followed by a bright cool melon-like flavor.
