Not the usual Jungpana standard, this excellent white tea will leave you pleasantly surprised with its freshness and vibrancy.
It would be difficult to distinguish this lovely white tea from a premium, hand-made China Shou Mei, yet it comes from the heart of Darjeeling. Shows how far the district has come from the old days, when Darjeeling’s were fairly uniform as to style and taste. This tea has gorgeous, light green leaves which open gracefully as you infuse with hot (but not too hot) water. The liquor is light green, clear, almost ethereal. The aroma reminds one of a bouquet of dried flowers sitting on a sunny window. Barely any astringency at all, but definitely leaves a fine impression on the palette.
