Kangra is a tea producing region in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s rare that teas from Kangra make it to our folio and when it does it’s definitely the best. This one has the fragrance of raw fruits and greens, and the appeal of the regions evergreen cedars. The liquors ample mouthfeel starts with subtle woody notes and make way for the more lively and sweet character of greens. The cup gains some briskness toward the end brought about by the flavors of unripe tree fruits. The aftertaste is mildly nutty.
